A free park and ride system will be put in place at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium for persons attending the launch of the National Youth Forum on Sunday, June 20.

That is the word from Special Events Coordinator in the Prime Minister’s Office, Cranston Browne, who said the shuttle would run from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. He urged persons attending the launch in the car park of Sheraton Mall to leave their vehicles at the gymnasium and utilise the fleet which was being made available for the occasion.

Assistant Superintendent, John Annel, added that there would be limited parking at Sheraton Mall, and stressed that vehicles would not be allowed to park on Vauxhall Road or Sargeants Village since this would impede the smooth flow of traffic. He promised that security personnel would be present at the Gymnasium and Sheraton Mall.??saustin@barbados.gov.bb
