Taxi operators who ply their trade from Independence Square are advised that they will be relocated this weekend.
These operators will be repositioned to the designated taxi parking area on Probyn Street on Saturday, November 26, and on Sunday, November 27, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., on both days.
This is as a result of the rehearsal for the Independence Ecumenical Service tomorrow, Saturday, November 26, and the staging of the Service on Sunday, November 27 at 4:00 p.m.
Meantime, no vending will be allowed on Fairchild Street and the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge on Sunday, November 27.
All vendors will be accommodated on Lower Bay Street in the area of DaCosta Mannings.
This is to facilitate the Independence Ecumenical Service.
