Registration is now open for the inaugural Parkinson???s Awareness 5K Walk and Run on Sunday, March 8, at the Mahaica playing field, Speightstown, St. Peter, starting at 4:00 p.m.
The event aims to heighten public awareness of the disease and to provide support to persons suffering from Parkinson???s.
Registration is free and interested persons may register by accessing the Facebook Page Barbados Parkinson???s Awareness Walk/5k Run, or before the start of the event.??
The first 100 people to register will receive a free tee shirt.
