Patients at the St. Lucy District Hospital and residents of the Elayne Scantlebury Centre, River Bay, St. Lucy, will be relocated today, due to the expected passage of Tropical Storm Kirk tomorrow.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that because of the possibility of flooding, patients at the hospital are being transferred to the Geriatric Hospital, Beckles Road, St. Michael, while residents of the Centre will be relocated to the Psychiatric Hospital, Black Rock, St. Michael.

For information on patients at the hospital, relatives may call the Nursing Office at the Geriatric Hospital at 427-2167; while information on residents at the Centre may be obtained by calling the Nursing Office at the Psychiatric Hospital at 536-3026 or 536-3027.
