Barbadians will be paying less for some petroleum products, effective midnight, Sunday, September 5.

The retail price of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene will decrease, while the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will increase, in keeping with the landed price for these products on the international market.

Gasoline will be sold at $3.98 per litre; the price of diesel will now be $3.14, while kerosene will be retailed at $1.32. The adjusted price of the LPG 100-lb cylinder will be $156.52; the 25-pound cylinder will cost $44.23; the 22-pound cylinder $39.09, and the 20-pound cylinder $35.53.
