Barbadians are now paying less for gasoline, diesel and kerosene.

Effective midnight Sunday, September 6, the retail price of gasoline dropped from $3.27 per litre to $3.19 per litre and diesel moved from $2.29 per litre to $2.20 per litre.

Kerosene will now retail at $1.18 per litre, down from $1.24 per litre. These new prices represent decreases of eight cents, nine cents and six cents per litre on gasoline, diesel and kerosene, respectively.

According to the Division of Energy, this adjustment in retail prices is due solely to an adjustment in the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) of these refined products.
