Adopting survival strategies to ride out the current global economic crisis was among the topics discussed when government and members of the private sector met last week to chart the way forward.

During the meeting at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, participants paid rapt attention to the presentations made by Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Delisle Worrell, the Minister of Finance, Christopher Sinckler, and government’s economic advisor, Geoffrey Belle, as they assessed the impact of the global crisis on Barbados.

There was also active participation by the members of the social partnership; while Prime Minister Freundel Stuart reiterated his appreciation for their support during these critical times.
