Prime Minister Freundel Stuart met today at Government Headquarters with the Minister for the Caribbean in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, James Duggridge.

They discussed a number of issues, including tourism and its importance to Barbados; the offshore sector and double taxation agreements versus tax information exchange agreements; the recently-concluded Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States in Samoa; and renewable energy.

Also attending the meeting was British High Commissioner to Barbados, Victoria Dean.
