"An excellent development, which is very appealing, and well designed."?? This was the description given to Claridges, Barbados, by Prime Minister David Thompson, after a brief tour of the 10 villas located at Gibbs, St. Peter, yesterday.????
Mr. Thompson, who was accompanied on the tour by developer and builder of Claridges, Michael Challice, said he was very impressed with the gated resort community and hoped that it would be successful, "particularly in this tough economic market".
The villas, which were completed in December last year, were designed by architect Michael Gomes. They offer each individual homeowner over 3,000 sq. ft. of living space, including three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.
The villas are available for sale at a per unit cost of approximately US$1, 495,000.
