The Barbados Police Association (BPA) is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary this week, under the theme Fifty (50) Years of Representation, Challenges and Achievements – The Way Forward.

One of the events on the cards will be a Friday Night Lime, tomorrow, Friday, October 28, at the Police Sports Complex, Weymouth, St. Michael, beginning at 7:00 p.m.?? An awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 29, at the Sanctuary Empowerment Centre, MPower Complex, Country Road, St. Michael, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Awardees will include past Commissioners of Police, past Presidents of the BPA and selected members of the Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB).

Activities will come to a climax with a Police Band Concert, on Sunday, November 6, at Police Band Headquarters, District ???A’, Station Hill, St. Michael. It will get under way at 7:00 pm.
