The Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) has introduced crime desk operations at Holetown, Oistins and Central Police Stations to assist victims of crime in following up their matters that are under investigation.
For the Northern Division, the Holetown Crime Desk also serves District “E”, District “D”, District “F”, Crab Hill and Belleplaine Police Stations.
In the Southern Division, the Oistins Crime Desk is also responsible for District “C”, District “B” and Seawell Police Stations.
The Central Police Station Crime Desk also functions for the other Bridgetown Division units – District “A”, Black Rock, Hastings, Worthing and the Bridgetown Port Police Stations.
Thus, victims of crime may contact the crime desk responsible for their districts and obtain frequent updates on the status of their matters; the investigator assigned to the case; information on how to access other support networks and information on court procedure, trial date, adjournment and other requirements to attend court. They may also furnish additional information pertaining to their matters.

The crime desk augments the RBPF’s crime management and neighbourhood policing strategies.
