Cabinet has reviewed the policy relating to the importation of antique and vintage cars.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, Cabinet has agreed that the importation of vintage vehicles will be allowed, provided that such vehicles were manufactured between 1919 and 1930, while that of antique vehicles will be allowed, provided that the vehicles are older than 45 years.

Importers of vintage and antique vehicles must provide a certificate of authenticity from a reputable antique or vintage car dealer verifying the age and condition of the vehicle; and vintage and antique vehicles must be maintained in keeping with the original manufacturer???s specification.
