The Port of Bridgetown will remain closed to business tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13.

This comes as ash fall from the La Soufriere volcano in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has made the environment unsafe for a return to the delivery of cargo.

As a result, access to the Port will continue to be restricted to authorised essential personnel only.

Cargo will be discharged from arriving vessels. The Barbados Port Inc. apologises for any inconvenience this closure may cause and will issue further updates on the resumption of operations.
