Staff at the Portvale Factory, Blowers, St. James, will benefit from a Health and Wellness Fair which will be held at that site on Friday, October 26.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. and expected to conclude at 3:00 p.m., the fair has been organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in collaboration with the Barbados Agricultural Management Company Ltd.
Workers will have the opportunity to receive free blood pressure checks, cholesterol and HIV testing, and Body Mass Index screening.?? An information booth will also be on location to provide Portvale employees with more details on various health and wellness matters.
Entertainment will include drama presentations and line dancing.?? Food sampling will also be available.??
