The Mighty Grynner will be one of the performers at the Errol Barrow Centennial Concert slated for the Checker Hall Playing Field in St. Lucy tomorrow. (FP)

There will be a potpourri of entertainment at the Errol Barrow Centennial Concert which takes place at the Checker Hall Playing Field tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m., artistes from across the island will perform various genres of music, including spouge, jazz and rock.  The evening will feature some of the biggest names in music from Barbados, such as Shirley Stewart, the Mighty Grynner, David Kirton, Alison Hinds, Nikita, Carolyn Leacock and Edwin Yearwood.

Members of the public are advised to use the park and ride service, which is being made available by the Transport Board, and are also asked to note that glass bottles will not be allowed at the venue.

Prior to the mega concert, there will be a plaque unveiling ceremony at 3:00 p.m. at The Garden, also in Checker Hall, at the site where the Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow was born. 

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley will deliver remarks. All are invited to attend.
