"Develop a passion for learning and you will never cease to grow."

Quoting the words of renowned motivational speaker, Anthony D’Angelo, Acting Minister of Education and Human Resource Development, Patrick Todd, urged the graduating class of Metropolitan Kindergarten to engage in life-long learning.

"It is now time for you to make your mark and to write your name on history’s page… continue to learn and you will continue to grow," he stressed.

Minister Todd pointed out that it was "no surprise" that with the increased demand for young children to be in school, that the Metropolitan High School and Institute had expanded its vision to include pre-primary students. He also encouraged the school’s administration to make use of all available resources in an effort to ensure the highest quality of education was delivered.

"I encourage you to avail yourself of the developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education. The officers of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development will be available to you to provide the necessary guidance in this area," he stated.

Yesterday’s ceremony saw 15 pre-schoolers graduating to Primary Level education.
