The Preparation for the World of Work sessions have been designed for students of secondary and tertiary institutions, new entrants to the workplace and youth group members who are between the ages of 15 and 25.

Participants will learn about productivity, service excellence, work ethics and teamwork, as well as the importance of communication. They will also be taught the do???s and don???ts of Curriculum Vitae and Cover-Letter Writing, and receive valuable job interview tips.

Human resource practitioners will be on hand to interview the participants, and identify their strengths and weaknesses in an effort to assist them in mastering the interview process.

Now in its seventh year, the programme???s objective is to help students transition smoothly from school to the work environment, and it has been modified over the years to ensure the maximum benefits are received.
