Cyber risk, threat intelligence and the General Data Protection Regulation will come in for discussion when a press conference is held next Tuesday, May 15.
Hosted by the Data Processing Department (DPD), the Telecommunications Unit, and the Barbados Defence Force (BDF), in collaboration with the Caribbean Israel Center for Cyber Defense (CICCD), the press conference will take place at the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation, Princess Alice Highway, Bridgetown, at 10:00 a.m.
Scheduled to deliver remarks are Systems Analyst with the DPD, Ashell Forde; Deputy Chief Telecommunications Officer, Clifford Bostic; Captain Gail Morgan of the BDF; and Chief Executive Officer of the CICCD, Andre Thomas.
Activities for Cyber Week, which will be held from May 29 to June 1, are also expected to be discussed.
