The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs in the Ministry of Commerce and Trade has advised the public that an error was made in its price index publication issued last week.

The Thursday, June 21 issue of the index, which was printed in the Barbados Advocate, Barbados Today and the Nation Newspaper, stated that Carlton Supermarket sold its 400gm Nesquik Chocolate at $8.95; the correct price is $6.75.

The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has apologised to Carlton Supermarket and the consumers for this error.
