The Barbados Prison Service today announced the temporary cancellation of visits to prisoners at Dodds.
“As a result of the conditions presently obtaining due to a shortage of water at Her Majesty’s Prisons, Dodds, the Barbados Prison Service (BPS) wishes to advise the public that all visits to inmates have been cancelled until further notice,” stated a BPS release.
“All persons in possession of visitors’ passes are asked to contact the prison at 416-6900 extension 6000 to reschedule those appointments,” added the release.
The Barbados Prison Service has apologised for “any inconvenience caused by these cancellations and will inform the public as soon as visits recommence”.
