Young people dressed in National Colours. (C. Pitt/BGIS)??

Barbadians are being urged to show their national pride by coming out in their best outfits which depict the colours of the Barbados flag on National Colours Day tomorrow, Thursday, November 29.

This year, the Division of Culture and Sports will be holding a National Colours Day Competition. It will take place in The City, between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 a.m. and again from noon to 1:00 p.m. Persons spotted by staff from the Division in any of the three designated areas – Independence Square, Jubilee Gardens and the pathway between Cave Shepherd and the Norman Centre building, have the opportunity to win attractive prizes.

Participants must agree to have their pictures taken and the photos will be posted to Facebook. Prizes will be awarded to the three best dressed persons wearing the national colours.
