The Project S.O.F.T Camp in 2018. (FP/NCSA)

The 18th annual one-week camp Project S.O.F.T (Safeguarding Our Future Today) will take a different form when it comes off from Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28.

It will be a day camp, instead of a residential one, and will be held at the Eastern Caribbean Bible Camp, Ruby, St. Philip, under the theme: Better Knowledge for Better Care.

The National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA) camp will cater to 40 children who sat this year’s Common Entrance Examination, and is designed to prepare them and their families for entry into secondary school, by discussing the multiple life challenges they are likely to face.

Registration begins on Monday, August 10, and runs until Friday, August 14, or until spaces are filled. There is a registration fee.

Interested persons should contact Makeada Bourne at the NCSA by calling 535-6272, or by emailing ncsa.info@barbados.gov.bb
