Issues of health will be in the forefront when this year’s Project S.O.F.T. (Safeguarding Our Future Today) gets under way from Monday, August 26, to Sunday, September 1.

The 12th annual one-week residential camp, hosted by the National Council on Substance Abuse (NCSA), which caters to 40 children who sat this year’s Common Entrance Examination, will be held at the WISH Centre (formerly the Baptist College), Fortesque, St. Philip.

Students attending this year’s camp will embrace the theme Healthy Youth…Healthy Community…Healthy Workforce, as officials prepare them for entry into secondary school by discussing the multiple life challenges that will confront them. Registration for the camp runs from Monday, June 24 and ends on Friday, July 26. There will be a $60 registration fee.

For further information, interested persons may contact Makeada Greenidge or Agnetha Roach-Chase at the NCSA at 429-6272 or email info@ncsa.org.bb.
