Participants attending the Productivity Council’s workshops on mastering the interview and other job-related skills will benefit from a pep talk from a senior government official, who will give greater insight into this area.

Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Carson Browne, will be the featured presenter on Thursday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 9, when the half-day sessions continue at the Council’s 2nd Avenue, Belleville, St. Michael offices.?? The workshops will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

The seminars will target students of secondary schools, tertiary institutions, new entrants to the workplace, community youth groups and summer campers, between the ages of 16 and 25.?? Participants will be required to register for one free half-day session only.

During the sessions, officials from the Council will instruct participants on Productivity Awareness; Service Excellence; Curriculum Vitae, Cover Letter; Job Interview Tips, Work Ethics and Teamwork.
