The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has given the assurance that all public nursery, primary and secondary schools will be opened and fully staffed for the start of the Hilary Term, next Monday, January 6.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry told parents and guardians that they could be confident that the delivery of education would not be compromised ???in any way???.

The school term will commence on Monday, for teachers, but students will resume their studies on the following day, Tuesday, January 7, after a three-week break for the Yuletide season.

The Hilary Term will run for 13 weeks, and is expected to end on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4, for students and teachers, respectively.
