Barbadians will soon find out about the police force’s response to domestic violence here and the experiences of victims, when a public forum is hosted by the SAVE Foundation on Wednesday, December 2.

"Protecting, Respecting and Fulfilling the Rights of Victims of Domestic Violence" is the theme of the discussion at the Prince Cave Hall, District "A" Police Station, Station Hill, St. Michael, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Panellists will include Psychiatrist, Dr. Ermine Belle; immediate past President of the BAR Association, Wilfred Abrahams; Chairperson of SAVE Foundation, Liesel Daisley; a senior police officer and a male and female victim of domestic violence.

This is one of several activities being staged to observe November 25 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence.
