The public is invited to sign the official Book of Condolence for South Africa???s first black president and anti-apartheid hero, Nelson Mandela.
Signing will take place at the Old Spirit Bond, The City, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. until Saturday, December 14.

Organised by the Commission for Pan African Affairs through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the book bears a photograph of the late freedom fighter; with the year of his birth and death inscribed on the inside cover. It also features the official tribute from Prime Minister, Freundel Stuart.

Students, whose schools participate in the Mabalozi programme, will also get an opportunity to sign a book of condolence.

Following the late leader???s funeral, the Books of Condolence will be sent to the Government and People of South Africa. Copies will be made and kept in Barbados.

Nelson Mandela died last Thursday, December 5, at the age of 95.
