Members of the public are invited to attend a lecture on the topic: Is Anything Being Done on Climate Change? on Monday, October 8, at the Frank Collymore Hall, The Central Bank of Barbados, The City, at 7:00 p.m.

The lecture, which is being held under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Maxine McClean, will be delivered by Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Christiana Figueres.

Ms. Figueres was appointed to the UNFCCC in May 2010, and has been involved in climate change negotiations since 1995.
