Barbadians will soon have a final chance to contribute to the shaping of this island’s National Youth Policy.

This opportunity will come when a public meeting is held on Friday, May 13, at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed, the City, starting at 6:00 p.m. Members of the public, especially young people, are being encouraged to attend and give their suggestions as the document is further refined for submission to Cabinet and on to Parliament.

Additionally, those persons who wish to peruse the Policy should collect a copy from the Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth at the Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael or access it electronically by visiting the following websites: http://www.nationalyouthforum.org/, http://www.youthaffairs.gov.bb/ or https://www.gisbarbados.gov.bb/.

Those persons who are interested in sending written submissions should address them to the Permanent Secretary in the Division of Family and Youth, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, or email pssecretarymyfs@mes.gov.bb. Additional information may also be obtained by calling 430-2799 or 430-2813.
