Persons who wish to attend the Ministry of Tourism’s Bajan Pride Expo: the Christmas Edition have a transportation option, as the Transport Board will be offering service to the event.
The expo, which will begin at 2:00 p.m. with karaoke and dancing with Q in the Community, will also feature live entertainment and the work of local artisans, including pottery, jewellery and confectionery.
Tourism Development Officer, Eleanor Jordan, explained that "persons who want to get there for the start at 2:00 p.m., could use the Transport Board service, which will offer an hourly service to Chalky Mount, St. Andrew.?? However, those who wish to come later in the evening can participate in the Transport Board’s sunset bus ride to Chalky Mount, which runs from 6:00 until 11:00 p.m.," she said, adding that tickets were available at the Princess Alice and Fairchild Street Terminals.
This year’s Bajan Pride Expo will be the final event in the Tourism Week 2012 calendar.
