Persons with disabilities (PWDs) who operate small businesses, and parents and caregivers of PWDs desirous of establishing a business are invited to register for an entrepreneurship symposium to be held next month.
The event is being hosted by the National Disabilities Unit (NDU) in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy and Business.
It will be held on Wednesday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the First Citizens’ Room of the Cave Hill School of Business and Management Inc., The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, St. Michael.
Participants will be exposed to the requirements for setting up a business, how to access funding and desired practices to make the business successful and sustainable.
