The public is kindly asked to note that the Out-Patient Clinics of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) will be closed, and the Pharmacy Medication Delivery Service suspended on Monday, April 12. This interim closure does not include patients scheduled for dialysis treatments at the hospital’s Artificial Kidney Unit.

As most out-patient visits are routine follow-ups, patients affected by the unexpected closure of the Out-Patient Clinics will be contacted by a member of their medical team to discuss their ongoing care.

Affected out-patients will also be contacted by the Medical Records Department and provided with rescheduled appointment dates and times.

We are aware that some persons remain ill at home while awaiting the date of their next out-patient appointment. If you believe you require emergency or urgent medical care, please contact the QEH Help Desk at 536-4800 or send an email to helpdesk@qeh.gov.bb for guidance before visiting the Accident and Emergency Department (AED).

Given the climatic conditions, all necessary precautions are to be taken to ensure you reach the QEH safely if advised to visit the AED.

The QEH regrets any inconvenience caused, and looks forward to your continued cooperation as we strive towards “Getting Better Together”.
