Queen???s College and the Alexandra School will be moving on to the regional leg of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association???s (FCCA) Children???s Environmental Poster competition.

Nykhalia B. Wilson of Queen???s College placed first in the junior division, while Keidra Mottley of Alexandra placed first in the senior division.

Other competitors in junior division were Tyuh Manning, also of Queen???s College, and Christopher Cox, of the Sharon Primary School, who tied for second place.

In the senior division, Queen???s College students, Sharifa Giles and Zariah Layne, placed second and third respectively.

The entries of the first place winners in the junior and senior divisions have been forwarded to the FCCA???s offices in Miami for inclusion in the regional leg of the competition.

The Ministry of Tourism and International Transport received 28 entries from students in the primary and secondary schools across the island and the judging took place on Wednesday, May 14.

The Ministry congratulated the students and extended best wishes to those who are moving on to the regional level.
