In recognition of two and a half decades of public health care, the Randal Phillips Polyclinic at Oistins will host a series of activities, from August 2 until September 5.

Under the theme "Twenty Five Years and Moving On", the month will begin on Sunday, August 2, with divine worship at the Oistins Church of Christ, Scarborough, Christ Church at 10:00 a.m.

On Saturday, August 8, the team of public health workers will meet in the polyclinic’s car park at 7:45 a.m., to go on a Safari Ride across the island.

The following week will see a lime at Oistins Bay Gardens on Friday, August 14, from 8:00 p.m.

On Thursday, August 27, the Randal Phillips Polyclinic will host a lecture/discussion on the topic: "Retirement and Pension – What You Need to Know". A representative from the Ministry of the Civil Service will facilitate the session which starts at 2:30 p.m.

Open Day at the polyclinic has been planned for Monday, August 31, the date the polyclinic was officially opened. It will run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Patrons are invited to come and have blood sugar and blood pressure testing and can obtain information on various health issues.??

Activities for the month will culminate on Saturday, September 5, with a dinner and awards ceremony at the Divi Southwinds Resorts, St. Lawrence Main Road, Christ Church at 6:00 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to support the activities in recognition of 25 years of public health care at the Randal Phillips Polyclinic, and may call the polyclinic at 428-3250 for information on the Safari Ride and other events.??
