Public officers and persons working with NGOs may now apply for the Rausing Public Service Fellowship for 2022-2023.

Eligible persons should be a citizen of Barbados; hold a Bachelor’s Degree; have at least seven years’ full-time relevant professional work experience; meet the matriculation requirements of Harvard University; and be accepted to the Harvard Kennedy School.

The Fellowship provides financial support to an awardee who has been admitted to Harvard Kennedy School to participate in its one-year Mid-Career Master in Public Administration Edward S. Mason Program.

This program will allow the Mason Fellow to develop a broad range of analytical and leadership skills required to initiate and implement major political, social or economic change, and prepare to address the world’s most compelling development challenges.

The successful awardee will be required to sign a bond agreeing to return to Barbados to work in a position in Government, a non-profit or NGO, for at least two years.
