The Importance of Record-Keeping will be the focus of a seminar being hosted by the Rural Development Commission (RDC) for 60 of its clients, next week.

The event will take place at the Valley Resource Centre, Glebe, St. George, next Wednesday, September 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Minister of Industry, Small Business and Rural Development, Denis Kellman, will deliver the feature address, and representatives from Scotiabank, the National Insurance Department, Inland Revenue Department and the VAT Division of the Customs and Excise Department will speak on various aspects of record keeping.

Business Development Officer at the RDC, Glenda Watson will deliver a presentation in-keeping with the theme of the seminar, while Loans Administrator, Alston Flemming, will speak on Servicing your Loan.

The seminar is one of the Commission’s several training initiatives for its clients and aims to encourage better business practices to ensure more sustainable businesses.
