The Records Department of the Registration Department will be closed from tomorrow, Thursday, June 7, until further notice. As a result, all services provided by that department will be suspended.

According to Registrar of the Supreme Court, Barbara Cooke-Alleyne, Q.C, the closure is to facilitate the department’s temporary relocation to Manor Lodge, Warrens, St. Michael, in order to allow the White Park Road, St. Michael complex to be cleaned.

During the period Sunday, June 17, until Tuesday, June 19, persons may visit the White Park Road, St. Michael complex to register recent deaths and marriages and collect relevant certificates as well as for emergency birth certificates on production of documents to verify the urgency.

Persons are also asked to note that the other offices of the Registration Department remain closed except for the processing of urgent applications and lodging of wills.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
