There has been a further reduction in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Effective midnight, Tuesday, May 12, the retail price of LPG will be reduced from $119.09 per 100-pound cylinder to $102.84, a reduction of $16.25. The 25-pound will decrease by $4.14 from $32.36 to $28.22 and the 20-pound cylinder will go from $25.89 to $22.58 – a saving of $3.31.

At a meeting on June 5, June 2008, Cabinet instituted a mechanism to adjust petroleum prices on a monthly basis in keeping with international trends as it related to the pricing of petroleum products.
