As part of the activities for Occupational Safety and Health Week 2015, July 6 to 10, a series of free seminars will be held under the theme: Promoting Justice in Employment: Building a Culture of Safety.

Topics include Practical Applications of Risk Assessment Techniques; the Barbados Building Code; Safety Provisions for Elevators and Pressure Vessels; and Developing Emergency Procedures.

Participants will also hear from companies which were affected by fire and accidents in the workplace.??

Hosted by the Labour Department in collaboration with the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and Health Week is held annually to promote safety and health in the workplace.
