The Environmental Health Department of the Ministry of Health is offering a number of certified training courses to members of the public during September, October and November.

Classes in Introduction to Swimming Pool Sanitation run from September 8 to 12, October 6 to 10, and November 3 to 7.??Classes in Introduction to Basic Food Safety take place September 15 to 19, October 13 to 17, and October 20 to 24.

The Introduction to Institutional Hygiene course comes off September 22 to 26, and November 10 to 14; and Introduction to Vector Control will be on October 6 to 10, and November 3 to 7.

Interested persons may register by collecting a form from the Environmental Health Department, Frank Walcott Building, Culloden Roa, and taking the completed form to the Accounts Department of the Barbados Community College where they will pay for the selected course or courses.

The registration deadline is two weeks prior to the start of the specified course.??All courses will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and training will be conducted at the Environmental Health Training Centre, 2nd Floor, British American Insurance Building, Magazine Lane, Bridgetown.
