Those persons who are interested in participating in the Training of Trainers Course of the Parent Education and Support Programme have been reminded that they must register by the end of this week.
The 15-week course will start next Monday, January 10, and it will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., in the main conference room of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael.
During the sessions, participants will discuss Parenting, Coping and Managing, Finding Self, Seeking Help and appropriate Action.
Persons interested in participating in the training should immediately contact the Ministry of Family, Culture, Sports and Youth at telephone numbers 430-2915 or 430-2917.
The programme is aimed at developing a group of well trained and knowledgeable individuals who are expected to provide specialised instruction to parents and prospective parents, in an attempt to help them improve their skills, and develop healthy relationships with their children.??saustin@barbados.gov.bb
