Candidates who will sit the University of Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) November 2012 Examinations are advised that registration forms are now available.

Private candidates and institutions should complete the registration at the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, Elsie Payne Complex, Constitution Road, St. Michael, by Wednesday August 15, between 8.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.

The fees for the examinations per subject are: Ordinary Level $75; Advanced Subsidiary $100 and Advanced Level $150.

The candidate fee is $40, while the local fee to be paid is $30. The local fee covers all examinations, which the particular candidate may be writing for the period October to December 2012.

All fees should be paid in cash to the Ministry at the time of registration.

Candidates are reminded that they should not submit more than one entry for the same examination and that all private candidates should complete registration forms in person at the Ministry. The registration should be accompanied by either the Barbados Passport or Identification Card.

Additionally, candidates are further reminded that they must choose their subjects in such a way that they would not clash with any other examination, since no alternative arrangements would be made in such cases.

Clashes of subject papers with those of other examining bodies cannot be reconciled or adjusted by the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.
