The Department of Constituency Empowerment is inviting all interested persons over the age of 40, to register for any of the disciplines being offered in this year???s National Senior Games.

The Tennis Competition will be held from Monday, April 11 to Sunday, April 17, at the Tennis Centre, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael.

The preliminaries for Dominoes and Hearts will be held on Friday April 15, 22 and 29. The semifinals will follow on Friday, May 6 and 13.??The Basketball Competition will be held from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17.

There will also be a 5K Road Race, which is open to runners, walkers and wheelchair competitors, and this is scheduled for Sunday, May 1. It begins and ends on Stadium Road, Waterford, St. Michael. The deadline FOR registration for the 5K Road Race is Sunday, April 24.

Persons are also invited to register for the Netball Competition, which will take place on Sunday, May 10 and Tuesday, May 12, at the Netball Stadium, Waterford, St. Michael.

The cycling Road Race will be held on Sunday, May 15, at the Spring Garden Circuit, Spring Garden, St. Michael. The deadline to register for this event is Monday, May 9.

The Track and Field Meet will come off at the National Stadium on Whit Monday, May 16, from 8:00 a.m. at the National Stadium, Waterford, St. Michael. Deadline registration for this event is Friday, April 29.??Other disciplines open for registration are Archery, Table Tennis and Road Tennis.
