Registration is open for the Introduction to QuickBooks Pro certificate course being offered by the Barbados Community College’s Industry Services Unit.
It is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 1, and will be conducted online. The course covers the fundamentals of using QuickBooks Pro to track the finances of a small business.
Participants will learn, among other things, how to set up a new company and inventory; process invoices; work with bank accounts, process payments, and handle banking transactions. Students will also learn how to customise forms; create reports; track and pay sales tax, and handle payroll.
To apply, persons may download an application form from the BCC’s website. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 27.
