The Barbados Licensing Authority will revert to its regular hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from Monday, May 18.

The services being offered are: the renewal of drivers’ licences, where no new photograph is required; weighing of vehicles; and vehicle examinations.

The alphabetical system, which has been put in place for places such as supermarkets, banks and hardware stores, has been partially modified to accommodate the five-day work week for persons seeking to carry out business with the Barbados Licensing Authority. 

  • Monday – letters A and B
  • Tuesday – Persons with Disabilities, the elderly (65 +) and the letters S T U V W X Y Z
  • Wednesday – C D E F
  • Thursday – G H I J K
  • Friday – L M N O P Q R

The public is urged to cooperate with the Barbados Licensing Authority as it seeks to provide an efficient service, while ensuring that everyone stays safe.
