A full dress rehearsal will be held this Sunday, November 4, for all armed and unarmed units taking part in the Remembrance Day Ecumenical Service and Parade. It will begin at 8:00 a.m. in National Heroes Square, The City.

Armed units of the Barbados Defence Force’s Guard of Honour, the Barbados Coast Guard, the Royal Barbados Police Force, the Royal Barbados Police Force Band and the Barbados Cadet Corps will be on parade.

Unarmed units will comprise members of the Barbados Fire Service, the Barbados Prison Service, the Barbados Girl Guides’ Association, the Band of the Barbados Cadet Corps, the St. John’s Ambulance Brigade, the Barbados Red Cross and the Barbados Boy’ Scouts Association. Members of the Barbados Legion will also be on parade.

And, as a consequence, motorists are advised that traffic will be diverted from this area during the proceedings.

Remembrance Day will be observed on Sunday, November 11, with an inter-denominational service at the Cenotaph, National Heroes Square, The City.
