The Princess Alice Corporate Centre. (FP)

Members of the public are reminded that the Passport Section of the Barbados Immigration Department will relocate to its new office at the Princess Alice Corporate Centre, Princess Alice Highway, from Monday, August 20.

Barbadian citizens applying for passports or their renewal, and those collecting completed passports, may visit the ground floor of the new location from August 20.

They are, however, urged to make appointments to do so by visiting www.immigration.gov.bb. Persons may also email the Passports Section at immigration.passports@barbados.gov.bb for more information, or contact the department at 535-4100, 535-4150, or 535-4129.

Meanwhile, Chief Immigration Officer, Wayne Marshall, has advised members of the public visiting the Department’s new headquarters that parking will not be permitted in the former BTI multi-storey car park in the initial stages.

He explained that during the transition period, the parking facility will undergo functional enhancements to serve both the public and the staff.

It is anticipated that the public parking facility will be opened by mid-October.
