Secondary school students from first to fifth form are being reminded that the deadline for submitting entries to the poster competition on the topic Aviation: Our Reliable Connection to the World is Monday, December 3.
The competition is being organised by the Barbados Civil Aviation Department (BCAD), in collaboration with the Grantley Adams International Airport, as part of the BCAD’s week of activities which runs from Sunday, December 2 until Friday, December 7.
Each poster must be original and displayed on Bristol board sized 20 x 14 inches, and presented using any medium. They will be judged on creativity, colour, concept and originality.
All completed entries must be submitted to the attention of Technical Officer of Training and Systems of the BCAD, Suzanne Griffith, at the Barbados Civil Aviation Department, Building 4, Grantley Adams Industrial Estate, Grantley Adams International Airport, Seawell, Christ Church.
Prizes will be awarded for the most outstanding entries and a selection of posters will be displayed in strategic areas of the airport.
