The Barbados Agricultural Society (BAS) is reminding exhibitors taking part in this year’s Agrofest, that all outstanding payments, as well as electrical requirements and badge information, must be submitted on or before Friday, January 30.

All payments must be made at the BAS??? office, The Grotto, Beckles Road, St. Michael, Mondays to Fridays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is requesting all vendors operating temporary restaurants or conducting sampling at Agrofest, to apply for a licence from the Environmental Health Department of the Winston Scott Polyclinic, a minimum of two weeks prior to the event which begins on Friday, February 27.

This is to allow Environmental Health Officers enough time to visit all places where food will be prepared to be sold at Queens Park. Vendors are also reminded that they must display their licence at the event.
