Public access to the Community Legal Services Commission suite of offices at the Supreme Court Complex will be restricted, with immediate effect.
Members of the public who wish to inquire about, or apply for legal aid services, are asked to first make initial contact with the department by calling 535-9900.
A decision will then be made as to whether the caller should attend at the office in person, or be interviewed via telephone.
These changes are in light of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Barbados.
